Cotswolds Farmhouse, Oxfordshire

When our client purchased this converted barn and farmhouse, they were often travelling between New York, London and Paris, so they asked us to furnish it completely whilst liaising with them remotely.  Our brief was to create a comfortable home in the country for the family to retreat to, with a focus on comfort and a real sense of location in the Cotswolds.

We set about re-furnishing the property from scratch, sourcing furniture, soft furnishings, lighting, antiques, beds, linen, art and even equipping the kitchen with crockery etc.  Each weekend during the project, the client would come home to new additions, which involved complete trust in our understanding of their brief.  We like to feel that their decision to move permanently into the house a short time later was at least in part a reflection of our efforts in creating the perfect home for them.
